oh dolly!

i'm pretty sure me and dolly are long lost sisters, separated at birth. keep reading and you'll understand. . .

she was born in sevierville, tn. i have been there several times and i had an aunt & uncle who lived very close to this city at one point. . . she was the 4th of 12 children. i was the 3rd of 3 children. 3 is very close to 4, and 12 is a multiple of 3. . . she was born to a dirt poor tobacco farmer. my daddy was once dirt poor, and he chewed tobacco for a while when i was a kid. . . when she was 12, dolly made her tv debut on knoxville tv, and when she was 13, she made a small music label and appeared at the Grand Ole Opry. i was 13 years old when i went with my parents to Nashville and we toured the Grand Ole Opry, and i got to stand on stage. . after she graduated highschool, she moved to Nashville. after i graduated highschool, i also moved to a town about 3 hours south of nashville. . . she met and fell in love with Carl Dean, who ran an asphalt-paving business. i met and fell in love with EAL who at that time owned a blue honda civic that ran quite well on asphalt. . . they have been married for 40 years. i plan on being married to EAL for 40 years. . . they have no children because she had an allergic reaction to birth control which prohibited her from conceiving. i had also been on birth control! (obviously not for any extended period of time). .

dolly is from Irish descent, and i am too, on my mother's side.

she has also turned down many offers to pose nude in Playboy magazine. she jokes and says 'maybe when i'm 100!'. meeee toooooo!!!

it's uncanny, really.
